Ninja Parade Slips Through Town Unnoticed Once Again

Christmas in October!

As I walked up the stairs to my home Tuesday night, I had the feeling that something was wrong, horribly wrong. I knew this because I saw the Schaffer’s car outside but I could smell no sweet aroma of chocolate meeting my finely tuned nose. The Schaffers were chatting with my mom on the couch and my dad was talking on the phone in his room. My dad walked out of his room saying something like “oh, let me get him for you.” Right as he handed the phone to me I caught a glimpse of a familiar smug smile that only a highly trained “Seer’s” eye can spot. That was my only hint of what was to come.
“Hello?” I could hear my uncle explaining my early college high school to someone in the background.
“Hey Micah”, it was my uncle Richard.
“Hey! How are you doing?” I hadn’t talked to Richard in a long while.
“Good, good… hey were you looking at getting a computer?”
“Yeah, I was considering getting a laptop awhile ago.”
“What kind of computer were you looking at?” he asked, by now I had figured out were this was going, and my heart was thumping!
“Probably a Mac.”
“Oh, really, hmm… well why don’t you look in your parents closet?”
“Are you serious?”
I ran to my parents closet and found a pile of boxes; I think I started going in to shock because I’m not sure the words coming out of my mouth were understandable English.
MY AWESOME UNCLE RICHARD BOUGHT ME A MACBOOK!!! Which is what I’m writing this on! That night I kept waking up thinking that it was a dream, but it wasn’t! anyways, thought you would like to know!
